Cool things to do with Firewire Drives?

[jerichoblake]

I was looking at a firewire drive that had 200gb, 2.0 usb ports, 800 and 400 firewire ports, and a sata port. What cools things can I do with this external drive. I am kind of new to computing.

Nothing really "cool" to do with it. It is an external storage device, period.

If you define "cool" for us, we may be able to help you better.

It would be cool if you bought it and shipped it to me.

Store things on it?

very good point you have.

To the OP: I ripped my seagate drive out of its external shell and put it inside my pc. Could also do that. They messed up on my RMA I ended up gettng a 750GB External drive for RMA'ing my 300GB Internal.

1. By your own HD
2, buy your own external care

Why = cheaper

also, all the connectors just give optons, firewire is faster and better for streaming data then USB, but also more expensive, you cant use like the USB + firewire 800 + 400 all at the same time, or at least my external dvd dont let it.

there is nothing cool to do with it ?
