Cool n Quite and Gaming

Quick question...would it affect performance to use cool n quite on my gaming machine. I do run a slight OC with no voltage mods. obviously for max performance i should not but does it work in real time or can i disable it when about to play? my machine is just so loud. thanks for your inputs

After the game starts, I don't think it'll be a problem. It's quite snappy to kick in.

Depending on your motherboard you can just enable Q fan to slow the cpu fan when the cpu is under say 55 degrees.

Same effect, less impact.

hey thanks man never saw that setting in the bios but i got it set to 54C or something. no load temp was 46 cpu and 38 board. i think its really my 7800gtx that sounds like a hoover
