convert single drive to raid

I have a raptor 74GB. I was thinking getting another one. Can I somehow convert the single drive setup to raid-0? I don't want to have to reload my OS and go through the trouble of setting up the firewall and antivirus again.

RAID involves 2 or more HDDs. thats the whole point of RAID

and why would you need to reinstall everything? you would just use Partition Magic and repartition the drive w/o touching any data.
 
Actually the only way would be to backup the system to another (3rd) drive and then put it back on the created RAID array.

Because the process of creating the RAID array will destroy the exsisting data on the "old" drive.

How do you get around the problem of needing raid drivers in the OS though? I thought you would have to reload the OS in order to do this, and reinstall everything.

It really isn't worth the trouble considering you don't gain much from RAID in regular day to day tasks anyways. I'd just put in a new drive and create a new partition.

Floppy disk and Press F6 to install drivers durring OS install.
