I just ran stress test on my comp while i was at work. i ran the test(prime95) from 4pm to 12:30am. When i got home i was told that my computer was beeping alot. When i walked in it was beeping very wierdly from the system, not speakers. Prime95 was saying that the test was complete. I ran the stress test that runs alot of FPU tests. mainly for processor i believe. I have a warning enabled for my computer when the temps go over 56c. But my motherboar monitor wasnt showing 56c. It spiked to 55 once while i was standing there. But for 8 hours + of a stress test i can expect that. and my comp to run fine and not shut itself off and sucessfully complete several tests. Becuase of the beeping, and i thought it was just getting too hot, i just shut computer down for alittle and let things cool down from that stress test. Damnit i wanted to see those results....

Would you say this is stable as an AMD 2500@3200 speeds?
 
It sounds like it was stable...although i dont have info on what your alarms were going off for...my guess is that it may have been a psu/voltgae problem but i really have no idea to tell u the truth.. those temps seem ok after a stress test...it wouldnt hurt to invest in maybe some better cooling if you push your computer a lot. can you post what your cpu speed is and voltage and all that?
 
umm motherboard monitor can be wrong change your warning temps to 62C and run it for 24hrs then it should be fine. u can see the results by going into the prime95 folder and looking in the test .txt called results or something. What are u running your ram, cpu, fsb, and voltages at?
 
did you check your mbm logs for peak temperature? it might just keep ringing to let you know that it broke the limit even though it went back once the test was over

if i was you i would run it again while youre there and try and work out whats going on, look at your voltages and rails compared to what they should be and obviously temps
 
ok, i just got home from work, i just recieved my other 512 stick of ram, and an Tt UFO 80 to 90mm fan. I moved my Tt Smart case fan to the side window to blow alot of air inside of my case to feed my UFO fan. here is my pic from prime95 i ran today after i got home.
The test ended way earlier ebcuase i told my cousin to stop the test if it started beeping, or turn it off in 5-6 hours. My Cpu parts are in sig.
