Well, I just got this email from Monarch Computer,

Thank you for your Core 2 Duo Pre-Order with Monarch Computer! We are working directly with Intel in order to provide these processors to everyone as quickly as possible. You may have noticed the ETA on the website has changed. This is an estimate for all pre-orders to be fulfilled and is not indicative of the exact day your order will ship. We will be shipping on a first come, first serve basis so please do not be alarmed. Currently, we expect our first shipment to arrive the week of the 21st. ditto. i was really hoping they would be shipping next monday. do you know anything about cancelling these orders? "hi. we just bumped you 17 days. of course that is, if everything goes right. let you know when we get the next delay"
