Conroe air cooling advice

So i've decided on either the Zalman 9500 or the Scythe Ninja for air cooling my conroe, and wanted some final advice from people here before I make the purchase.

My preference is towards the zalman for easier (and more compatible) installation, but if there is a HS with signicantly higher cooling power I'd prefer it.

I've been combing through the heatsink fan round-ups and have seen lots of mixed results. Some have zalman in a dead heat with the other comparable HSFs. Others show the ninja at a significant advantage.

Do you have experience with either? can i push OC'ing on a conroe more with the ninja? or is there some way better HSF i missed entirely?

Thanks for your help,

Don't get the 9500. It doesn't get as good temps as everyone thinks.

I would say get the Tuniq T-120 but they are impossible to get until August or so.
The ninja is good. but the mounting is awful. (I hear)

Also ThermalRight Ultra 120 and the Thermaltake Big Typhoon

I just ordered the Evercool Silver Knight , just becuz i have faith in it

-It gets better idle temps than any air cooler and its only $60 shipped for watercooling (if u want to call it that)

I'm also getting a conroe (E6600)

Tuniq and the Ninja are good choices.

The ninja is easy to get ON, it's the OFF part that's tough. Don't use the sticky backing, cut a piece of mobo foam (the red/black stuff you get in a mobo box) to size and use it instead.

GL on that Knight HSF too :).
