Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
hey, today i pulled out a fan from a nonworking psu
and its a 80mm fan. it was 2 wires 1 red and 1 black. is there any way i can connect this to my computer and use it?
and the psu burned, so does that meant the fan is burned?
As long as it still works, you can definitely use it, though, I must say that if it came out of a crappy power supply it might not push a lot of air and it may be loud, but that's for you to find out. The black is the ground and the red line holds the power, so you can just following a normal molex connector fan config with the black to one of the blacks on your connector and the red to either your red or yellow (I forget which one, just look at another one of your fans with a molex connector).
