I have an Athlon 64 x2 4800+ with an ECS board and I'm trying to determine the CPU temps. I'm using speedfan, which has always worked for me before, but it reports "Core" at 1*C, which is impossible, and "Temp 1" at 30*C which never changes. The core temp goes up and down, but never above room temp, and it has passive cooling. What the heck is wrong? Why can't I get the correct temps?

Have you tried Core Temp?? It supports your cpu..

Just tried it - it says 4c for core 0 and 2c for core 1. For some reason it seems the temps are being reported way below what they actually are.
Yes, I am. Is that going to be a problem? The bios seems to report the correct temps, but obviously I can't see what they are under a heavy load...
