Okay, so here is a weird/possibly expensive issue:
I just installed a sabertooth p67 mobo and a 2600k. into my computer
My computer currently has:
NZXT tempest evo case, 8gb kingston grey 1600mhz, Intel 120gb SSD, WD 320gb, Gigabyte 570 SOC, corsair tx750w, the sabertooth p67 and 2600k with a 212 evo on it (The 2600k is overclocked to 4.5ghz @ 1.29v) and 7 case fans, along with a dvd drive.
Everything works fine. It boots up in 10 seconds or so. It restarts fine. I can turn it off and turn it back on and it works. However, whenever I go to sleep and wake up, it never turns on!
It sounds like a capacitor of some sort loses its charge and doesn't have enough juice to initiate a start up. Just a guess.
So, I have to turn on and off the surge protector, or the powersupply itself to start the computer. This is annoying because it resets my UEFI/BIOS. Now, usually my past boards haven't done that. So, there is a possibility that the motherboard is faulty. It was open box from newegg and they probably didn't test it.
