Hey guys, I need some plans for a computer desk that i can build. I'm tired of this crappy dining room table, I searched for some plans somewhere, but found none... Could you guys hook me up with a link for free plans??? or submit some of your own?
 
If you're going to be building this thing yourself, why don't you design it yourself? Work up a sketch of what you'd like, and I'm sure someone will help you actually make the plans for it. Designing it yourself has the distinct advantage of allowing you to get exactly what you want, and it also feels better when you're done. If you really don't want to go that route, maybe think of some things you'd like to see in a desk, and someone might be able to help you out.

All that said, if you're just looking to do it to save money, it won't be that much of a savings. Depending on your setup, you might be better off just going to Walmart and buying a prefab build-by-numbers desk.
 
There is a $10,000 desk you can use as a template for your design.

It's basically made from two pieces of wood. You can build one yourself, and sell it for half price on eBay if you want, and build another for your own personal use. :p
