Compatibility issue between Asus P8P67 Pro / P8H67-M Pro with Intel RS2WC080

I am using Intel RAID card RS2WC080 (using LSI's SAS2008 chip) with SAS expander (RES2SV240). When RAID card is connected to any newer Sandy Bridge motherboards (P8P67 Pro / P8H67-M Pro), POST doesn't come up.

That same card works perfectly with Supermicro's X7SLA-H motherboard.

Please help!
 
The SAS2008 cards seems extremely picky and are considered "server hardware" so you may be out of luck since you're on a consumer board.
