Compaq CRT, Broken.....?

I dropped my CRT monitor a few months ago off a bed, and it dropped maybe a little more than a foot onto carpet. Ever since, it powers up, but shows no video signal. All connections are right. As far as I can tell, the video cable is part of the monitor, so I don't think I could replace that, nor do I think that is the problem. Is it still salvagable?

Note: Yes, I know I am a dumbass for dropping it, flaming is welcomed, but not needed.

WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYTHING AT ALL, have you opened it to see if any caps broke off? or if the fuse became unseated?

if you don't know what your doing, You do NOT want to touch the wrong thing and get zapped. getting zapped is NOT pleasent.

I got the main casing off, but there is still a second like cover, just looks like extra protection more so than like a capacitor or w/e....go for it? Also, what am I looking for...any visuals would help.

First of all, this cover is the metal shielding (Faraday Cage) which is there to keep all kinds of dangerous radiation from leaking out of it
