Comp-TV Screen problem.

Ok, here's the problem.

When I hook my Laptop(Toshiba 2400) up to my TV, the image on the TV is only PART of the screen, so I have to scroll to see different parts. Needless to say this is annoying. How do I make the screen fit on my TV in proportion?

Thanks.

You have to lower the laptops screen resoultion probably.
try 800x600

It is a Zenith 27", couple years old if that matters, and I am hooking it up through component cables.

PS, I already tried the resolution thing(800x600), it helps but still not the same size and my res doesn't go lower( I don't think).
