Color Profile Problem ?

I used windows calibrate display to adjust my new NEC 23" IPS EA231WMi and I also have my 20wmgx2 hook up as monitor 2 and the screen look great , now as soon as I start a game , the profile goes back to regular with the faded colors and after I exit the game the desktop has also lost the profile , Is this the monitor problem or is it a software problem , and whats the fix ?

Some programs (many games) adjust the gamma ramp via the LUT. When they do this, it over writes the profile you had loaded.

Powerstrip is a neat program which is able to (among other things) block writes to your video cards LUT. When you launch a game and the game overwrites your profile resulting in the ugly uncalibrated image, powerstrip detects it and changes it back to your calibrated profile. Very handy!

Makes a lot of sense thanks dude , I couldn't figure it out because Ive never used the windows profile to adjust my monitor and have adjusted thru monitor itself ..... Im going to get this powerstrip program and hope it works well
