Is there anywhere that sells inverters that will power more than 2 lights? I would like to get one that can power at least 4, but 8 would be best. I dont want to have to find somewhere to mount 4 seperate inverters!

Bump, I would really like ot find an aswer to this, thanks!

buy 4 inverters, cut out sheet metal, mount to sheet metal, make cover, win.

I was about to recommend that. However, make sure you have some vents or even a fan blowing on them. Each one generates heat, and putting 4 of them in the same enclsosure will generate 4X the heat.

I did this with a project that I never took "finished" pics of. I pulled all 4 invertors out of the housings, mounted them to the inside of a project box, then put an 80mm fan on it.

At first I didn't have a fan on it. I had the lights on all night to burn them in, and when I woke up, only 1 set was still lit. 3 of the invertors melted from all the heat.

I epoxied a large server MOSFET cooler piece onto 3 inverters (on to the ferrite bar, with non-conductive thermal paste) and blew a large ass 120mm fan (5v) over it. keeps em really nice and cool. The heatsink was reaching 49c before the fan, 31c after it.

Nope ... I've never seen a multi-light inverter either.

Speaking of sheet metal covers .... if I may humbly suggest .... you should look at these potted Aluminum inverters ~ http://vibelights.com/alduin.html

Have some myself & they are a much better option than the typical plastic inverters you see at other vendors. Would look great all polished up inside an Aluminum Lian Li case.
