I was thinking to get a CM storm scout for my new computer because I take my tower places often but it looks like the case can't support longer video cards with the drive bays being in the way. Is it practical/possible to remove a bay or two?

Thanks guys.

Its possible. Dremmel would be the way, however it won't look so nice imo

Well I jumped on the Scout 2. I like the styling of the original better (and the fact that it comes with more fans) but I think fitting all my stuff without breaking out the dremel is best. Thanks for the heads up. How is that handle by the way?

You mean mine? Mine's the old model...

It's steel reinforced, strong enough to swing around the case with all the components inside of it.

No worries at all... and the new one is also steel reinforced.

I look at the fact that the new one only comes with one fan as an excuse to get quieter and higher performing fans anyway.

Yeah. I know yours is the old version but I'm sure the handle is of similar build quality (or at least I hope) and I did hear about the stock fans on the original being a pain to swap out.

I can let you know how it is when I get it if you're interested. Though I won't have the computer finished til after Christmas.
