Cm Stacker top PSU cage

Okay, i got my stacker today.

The top PSU 'cage' has gotta go!

I've never modded a case.

What's the cleanest method of removing this cage?
Is there a tool about to remove the rivets holding it in place?
*wonders why CM didnt just screw the cage in*

Simply drill the rivets. I put my rad on the bottom, for now, but I think the rad and my PSU may soon switch places.

eher drill the rivits or use a flathead screw driver and a hammer.

So you want to do this?

I had to chop off the back half of the cage and use screws to secure it to the back of the case.

The best bet is to us a drill to drill out the holes.

I'm at work, so i cant reference my stacker...

I don't need the cage to mount the PSU in the bottom of my case... that's what the adapter plates are for.

I want to remove that top cage to make room for my Rad.

I guess i'll just cut a thin piece of steel as a cover for that top PSU opening. The existing cover has all kinds of holes, and requires part of that PSU 'cage' to mount to.
Wish CM thought of providing a nice plate for those who only want a lower PSU.

On another note. Would the 2 x 80mm fans provide any signifigant airflow in the back there, considering that there will be 3 x 120mm Panaflo M1A's sucking air through the raid beside/above em by only an inch or so ?

Sib, is that the bottom of your stacker with the grille removed, or a cutout in the top of your case case?
