i also didnt like how the card reader looks in the front of the case and it was coming short on the mb so i brought it inside the case with a little drilling

final internal card reader

why have the card reader if you have to put it inside the case? are you going to open up the case to put in a sd card? seems weird to me... why not get a usb card reader you can put on the desk?

i dont ever use a card reader anyway so if i really need one its in the computer and if i dont want to open it i have a usd card reader i just put that in there just incase

I really don't understand why you have the card reader in the case... ruins the look of the case as well.

Also, not sure if I understood you correctly, do you actually have an external card reader as well?

only things left to do is save up for a better gpu and sleeve the whole system. but both of those things can wait for a later point in time.

i want to put this piece of plexi next to the mb and behind the 5.25 bays but i think ill wait to find a way until i get a new gpu and some dremal wheels

had a bit of a problem lol but i got it off

To keep that from happening in the future, if you plan to remove the Heatsink and the computer has not been running for a decent amount of time before, simply boot it up, let it sit for 5 minutes or so, shutdown and quickly remove the HSF while the TIM is still soft. I have seen this happen to others, and usually the common link is cheap TIM that has dried out. I would recommend some Arctic Cooling MX-2 if you want good results with no cure time, inexpensive, and zero risk of it drying out.

yeah that was the stock tim and it was a bit dry but this time i use arctic silver 5 so it should be good now

the only things that are left to do is sleeve the wires which should be here tomorrow upgrade the gpu and get the matte plastic sheets to make everything hidden.
