I picked up three used radiators from a friend who upgraded his system and rebuilt his entire loop and I'm wondering what the best method to clean them would be. He pulled the entire loop out a few months ago and basically forgot about so it's been sitting in a plastic tote undrained. The two rads in the loop are a XSPC EX240 and a Black Ice GTX 360 the third one is Swiftech MCR320-QP which has been sitting in a box for over a year when it was swapped out for the GTX360.

Right now I'm thinking of building one of the flushing bucket systems I've seen on a few forums and on youtube but should I do anything else to clean them out?

Same method you use when you get a new radiator to flush out the flux.

Boil water, and continously flush it by pouring in, closing your ends, and shaking/rotating the radiator. You can do a flushing bucket as well if you wan.

This. I use distilled water brought to a rolling boil, and then poured into one inlet with a funnel, shake the shit out of it..Rinse/Repeat.
