Is there any specail ways that you guys clean out your loops? I originally installed my setup only cooling my cpu. But intended on cooling my x800 Pro as well. Well now is the time to cool the vid card. But it was ALOT harder then I expected to drain my system...... So now I ask a couple questions.
I currently use a resevoir, so what techniques would you guys suggest for draining? I thought about buying a plug and using my third port and haveing a couple inches of tubing just hanging off the res for draining. But then I decided I don't like the look. What else would you suggest?
And then my original topic. Is there any like disenfecting stuff that I can use to help remove some of the bacteria that will make my water gain conductivity faster? My original plan was to just leave the end of my loop open and poor my res full of distilled water and then run the pump and do that a couple of times. Then I would fill the res with vineger and run pump till it's dry to remove build up. Then run some more water through it again to clean out the vineger. And then let it dry over night and then add my MCT-40 that I got for free and reconnect my loop. Does this sound like a good idea?
