Due to the tragic loss of my PSU (and subsequently my motherboard too) I have decided to monopolize on the fact that my system is gutted and clean the loop. Over the last year or so the tygon tubing has turned a rather ugly shade of brown ... i'm not entirely sure what this is due to, but I think it was the 'UV colour additive' that I added, that did absolutely nothing to change the colour of my water. So first off, does anyone have any idea why my tubing has turned this nasty brown colour?
Secondly, I was thinking of using bleach to clean the loop and then flush it with water for like an hour or two in the bathtub. Does anyone have any experience with the use of bleach ... and/or can you suggest any better products for cleaning out my watercooling loop?
