Hey guys,
I recently had a virus that messed up my computer big time. I managed to clean it up but now every time I start up my computer I get a RunDLL message that says

"There was a problem starting C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\cixvq.dll

The specified module could not be found"

Additionally, my computer crashes on average once every day or two. I get the feeling these two are related but neither google nor bing has any search results for cixvq.dll. Does anyone know anything? Thanks a lot!

its most likely a randomly named dll, you wont find any info about it. You are getting the message because your AV program probably removed the file but it is still trying to start load it durring start up. Remove it from startup by deleting the corresponding registry value in HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run. it could also be in the user context, so check HKCU as well.

personally i would just hit the big ass red format button.
