Cisco: Web traffic to quadruple by 2015

My guess will be two things. 1) Digital media distribution/entertainment and 2) spam

or it could be China hacking the world
 
Yet so many places just don't have enough bandwidth for today's demand. ISPs need to get with the times. There is a lot more streaming stuff these days and with HD video sites such as youtube, it makes sense that it's going up.

p2p, porn, spam etc has always been a big player, but hard to tell if it's going up or not, probably more or less constant.
 
It makes sense...like the article says, a big portion of this boost will be from mobile devices. Going from 3G to 4G....it will really take off now. Smart phones have so far been only sipping bandwidth through a skinny straw.....now with 4G each phone has a garden hose. Look around you...how many cell phones do you see within a 100' radius of you?
