Cisco asa experts?

I purchased a few asa5520's from ebay for uber cheap, now i think i know why...
Both of them do the exact same thing, I am unable to get ANY console activity from them. I have the following lights lit on the back of the unit.
Power = Green
Status = Amber
Active = Amber
VPN = Green
Flash = off

Does anyone know of a master factory reset for these asa's?

Status = Amber = Problem with the device due to failed diagnostics

Flash = Off = Bad, is there a flash card?

Do they even have memory and flash in them? Sounds like cannibalized ebay junk.
