According to ABC News, it looks like Apple has made a deal with Cisco for the iPhone name. No real details on the deal just yet.

Cisco Systems Inc. and Apple Inc. have agreed to share the "iPhone" name, but both companies are staying tightlipped about what future products might come from the resulting deal to collaborate on "interoperability" between the companies' products.

NPR had this story this morning as well, stating that Cisco suggested they work together on security and the like. They then mentioned how Apple is known for its incompatibility with other companies and products :D

Be quite interesting if they do indeed work together.

I'm wondering if cisco isn't going to basically take over all the contracts for Apples networking products?
