Does anyone have experience with this unit?
Can you recommend anything similar or better for the price?
 
can't recommend anything better than that unit...

granted, i'm a cisco channel partner, but....whatever.

How does one go about becoming a channel partner with them? Is it as easy as becoming an IBM one?
 
No AP that is better. For something close but a bit less money look at the Proxim AP's. Orinoco gear. Very good equipment for 802.11
 
Is it worthwhile for residental use because of its upgradability?

errr...you actually have to have a business that deals with that particular end of the market and do a little interview with the channel representative...then you need to have an account with one of their 3 distribution vendors...ain't all fun and games.

No, I didn't think it was the same type of thing.
