hi everyone i am buying my first ups and have narrowed it down to the two following ups units

Cyberpower CP1350PFCLCD UPS 1350VA 810W PFC Compatible Pure Sine Wave

or

APC BR1500G Power Saving Back-UPS RS (Output Power Capacity: 1350va/865w;10 Outlets-5 UPS/Surge - 5 Surge Only)

i am not sure which is better but would like some advice as to which is more reliable

Both should be reliable.

I'd go with the Cyberpower for the pure sine wave, that model ABC is most likely simulated sine.

Either should be good, APC n Cyberpower are the only 2 brands i consider on UPS, i bought a Cyperpower 1500VA 2 years ago and been flawless, and have 3 lower APCs, no issues either. The new line of Cyberpower has gotten good users reviews, so that would be my choice out of the two, but either should be fine.

CyberPower CP1000PFCLCD
Thats the one I've been using for a few months now and it is flawless. You feel really naked realizing you used to plug straight into the wall. If it is for your computer, make sure you get either a PFC one or pure sine wave, not simulated sine wave.

The APC is probably better, but the difference is most likely pretty small. Simulated sine wave versus pure sine wave is pretty irrelevant with most PSUs.
