As of now I'm running a 3000+ Winchester and a 9800 Pro in an Antec midtower case. The temperatures of both are quite high (55 C on cpu under load according to the diode, hot enough to burn me on the 9800 Pro under load). I'm looking to watercool both. However, I don't have much money to be honest.
My goal is to get the CPU under 40C under load and the 9800 Pro just cooler. My budget is about $200 with everything included.
If I go with a heater core, how large are they? I have limited space (I would like to mount the rad inside the case, but the case is a bit small), so I would like to stick to a unit large enough to fit 1 120mm fan to. If I do go with a heater core (as opposed to a premade rad), where can I get fan shrouds from?
What would you reccomend for a CPU and GPU waterblock? I have a 9800 Pro and a socket 939 3000+. As for the pump, should I stick with an Eheim?
Should this be everything I need?
Heater Core + Shroud + Fan
Resivoir + Pump + Tubing
CPU + GPU waterblocks
Thanks.
