You're not going to find it for $12/ft. Are you sure you really need 12 feet? I only used like 3 on my system, but I don't have a VGA/GPU block.

I highly doubt that you'll find it for less than $2/ft anywhere. McMaster has it for exactly $2/ft.

Why do you need so much of it? Or are you like me...paranoid that you'll fcuk something up. :D

Take a look at voyeurmods.com , the primoflex. I ordered some and might be getting it today or tomorrow. I'll let you know how it is when it gets here. They also have clearflex for $.75 a foot.

-edit- Always buy more than you need. Measure twice, cut once, but sometimes you get that backwards...

OK, got my Primoflex today. The wall thickness is the same as Tygon. It feels more "rubbery" than the Tygon, and is a bit more flexible. In the squeeze test it is noticably softer. It also has a slight blue tint. Both have about the same bending radius. The only real noticable difference was price, at about $.50 cheaper per foot.

-edit- This is the 3/8" i.d. tubing.

Softer may equal more chance of it collapsing but I Hope it works out. Never heard of Primoflex before. Let us know how it goes.

P.S. my system is using just under 5 ft of clearflex for a CPu and Chipset setup. But my box is just a midsize so no real long tubes like those Liang Li big boxes would use.

After tearing my WC setup apart, cleaning, etc..., I prepared to put everything together and found something I didn't like with the Primoflex... two noticable seams running the length of the tubing, opposite of each other. I have decided not to use it in any of my systems.

I know that a WC setup doesn't have enough pressure to splt the tubing on the seams, but if it has seams that are that visible, is the quality all that good? Will it hold together over time? Will any addatives affect it? I don't know and I really don't care. To me, it's not worth testing it in a system that cose me so much to build.

On that note, I reccoment you stick with the tried and true... Clearflex or Tygon... and pay the extra money for peace of mind that you have purchased quality tubing.

What size Tygon are you looking for ? I have some 5/8" OD - 3/8" ID R3603 that i could part with for say, $1.20 a foot shipped....LMK.

You got the right soxe for me there stumpy, but I already have 12' of Clearflex 3/8" id- 5/8" od on the way, as well as a DD 6800 block, a DD RBX for P4's, and a DD Maze 4 Northbridge block. :D

I thank you for the offer though. How much do you have? I may be doing another setup in my son's PC a little later this year, and the wife's too.

Well, I think Mysticcal might be interested in some. I'm not able to take any just yet.

Hey Mysticcal! Get you some cheap Tygon from stumpy!
