looking for a cheap RAID low profile PCIe card for VMWare, just need to RAID1 a pair of 1Tb disks

I really like the LSI 3041e (or 3041e-r). Both are the same card, just depends on what firmware you install. HP also sells it OEM. You can pick them up very cheap on eBay and I have yet to have one fail.
It is a bit older, but a solid card for RAID1 up to 2TB disks (does not support greater than 2TB individual disks). One other trick, enable write caching.
