Changing home phone number to different number?

wow i havnt been in the post for a long time but is it ok to rig up the phone line without the phone company known it? will we get charged if we do?

As long as you are not stealing service or damaging other peoples service, your fine.

Each line is independent of the others. You can do whatever you want to your line, add as many jacks as you want, etc. As long as you aren't tapping into someone else's service, you are fine.

not a problem, its the same with cable tv. you can add as many outlets as you want, but obviously you cant tap into your neighbor's cable.
