Changing Fan Filters

How often do you guys change your fan filters? I'm prolly gonna use some dryer sheets that I use for school.
 
Whenever they get dirty. You should be able to see the dust collecting. When it's really thick, vacuum the filter or put on a new one.
 
i'm lucky if i get to mine every 4-6 months, and by then they're pretty gross.
