I'm running hp system, do i have to change anything when installing new cpu. Will PC recognize and work immediately or must i re-install.
 
It should be ok. Most newer systems work fine when swapping CPUs. Sometimes you may need to clear the CMOS or change jumpers, but that is pretty rare these days.
