I'd like the opinions of anybody who actually owns one of these cards. How is the build quality, noise, temps, reliability, etc. I'm thinking of picking one up, but I've never gone with Chaintech before, and I'd like some opinions before I decide. And please dont give me any "buy a 9800 instead" replies. I have decided on a 5950 for my own reasons, I just need to narrow it down to a particular brand now.

And the main competition at the moment is an ASUS V9980 Ultra. (About $15 more expensive)

TIA

the only chaintexh i have ever bought was a ti4200 VIVO that thing couldn't overclock for shit, even with the gymongus heatsink(essentially a TT GIANT I)

only chaintech card i ever bought was a TI4200 "Special Edition" which was DOA. After that incident I decided to stay with the big names.

my friend has a chaintech 4200 and its decent.... dosnt o/c too well tho.
go for a 5950 that has the nvidia reference cooling, its far more efficient and quieter than 3rd party stuff.

Really? The chaintech I have OCs like CRAZY. The OC in my sig is only limited because thats how far the driver will let me go w/o doing a reg edit, and I don't know what value to change the key to.
