Every time I find a case I like, I swear... *headdesk*
I went to spec some new CAD boxes for work yesterday and found that the CoolerMaster Centurion 590's page on Newegg has been deactivated, and it's no longer shown on Microcenter's website, either. I called a small B&M that I deal with a lot and they had 5 cases left between 4 locations.
So I tracked down CoolerMaster's phone number (their live web support is a joke) and called them; the customer service representative I talked to said that the 590 has been discontinued.
And apparently I'm going to have to find another midtower (the 690 II is too big for some of my applications) that has at least one top fan, supports 120mm fans (instead of/in addition to-acknowledging this utterly moronic trend toward non-standard 135/140/200mm etc. sizes
) all around, that can use screws instead of toolless crap for mounting everything, has filtered intakes and a mesh front panel, that's not branded by Antec and doesn't cost a small fortune. Lovely.
But yeah. Anyhow. I just thought some of you might want to know that the 590 seems to be out of production.
