Celeron D Running Too Hot?

So I got tired of waiting for an E6600 with no PC so I ordered a Celerdon D 326 for cheap. Put it in, everything looks fine, but I -think- the system might be running a bit hot. It's about 52 Celcius when I'm just downloading stuff and using Firefox, but Speedfan is also reporting termperatures of 74C and 79C, and I don't know what those readings are for, but they sound pretty hot. The harddrive is running at 44C. I have an Antec Truepower 550, which can control fan speeds, along with my ASUS P5W DH Deluxe which controls them, so maybe they're interfering with each other, or maybe the readings are wrong. Or are they just normal temperatures? The stock heatsink was also hard to install, so maybe I should check it.

If those temps are correct, yes they are too high. Try reseating the hsf, but its also possible the sensor and/or speedfan is wrong. My 310 never gets above 50c.
 
Well it looks like I just had the heatsink seated awkwardly, I readjusted it and it's now down to around 47-50C- is that much better? My motherboard is now running at 50C according to ASUS Probe II, 51C overall system temperature. SpeedFan is still reporting something running at 75C though, and I have no clue what it could be. I have all my case fans connected to my PSU's special fan connectors, and then a connector from it to the Chassis Fan 3-pin connector on the motherboard. Is that possibly the PSU's temp, or maybe the video cards? The reading isn't listed in anything but SpeedFan so I can't figure out what it might be.

Check the reading in the BIOS and not speedfan to check out that temp. In speedfan, my P5WD2 Premium shows a 'temp 3' which varies from -72 to 232.. but it's actually a sensor that is disconnected/never installed.

My 805D runs about 50C idle and 62 with full load (this is with a room temp of around 86F)
