A recent study at the University of Minnesota suggests that ceiling height affects problem solving skills and behavior. I wonder how high the ceilings are at the University of Minnesota?

"Priming means a concept gets activated in a person's head," researcher Joan Meyers-Levy told LiveScience. "When people are in a room with a high ceiling, they activate the idea of freedom. In a low-ceilinged room, they activate more constrained, confined concepts."

Is that the same for your car as well?

What about the other dimensions of the room?

Attention all member of the council, from now on all meeting will be held in the janitors closet :p

This is friggin rediculous. Seriously! C'mon! Who's really backing up this research, i just hope it's a private paying research and not public funded. I really don't see how this really concluded this research nor how it can be that much useful in the real world. When it comes down to people's idea, yes a lot of things come into factor about one's creativity and ideas but pin-pointing it to ceiling height? Shoot, I've been to some of the crappiest places to fix computers, and sometimes I really do have to think outside the box to fix it quickly so I don't have to stay there that long. And it doesn't matter how crappy the place you get that Blue-screening, spyware-fested, and POS fixed so you can get your ass outta there. Anyway, just IMHO.

I'm pretty sure the researchers were at the ceiling of their high when they came up with this... err I mean... yeah, you know what I mean.

I'll admit I'm not feeling at my creative peak when crawling through the false ceiling of a building.
