it is said that a 48x cd rom drive will not "blow" apart a cd rom.
this time it totaly destructed the drive itself, last time this happend EA replaced my BF1942 CD that broke, now i'll have to wait till monday seeing its Sat afternoon, and Samsung better replace my CD and the drive. Last time Samsung said it was a bad CD and refused to replace the drive, now it has eaten:
BF1942
CD-R
Raven shield.
i've seen this happen on a total of 5 cd's, 3 on mine, 1 in 2 others.
