CCNA Lab Question

Hello Guys,

Would you agree this is a typical exmaple of a CISCO CCNA lab rack?

• 1 x Cisco 2600 (2 Serial, 1 Fast Ethernet)
• 2 x Cisco 2501 (2 Serial, 1 Ethernet)
• 2 x Cisco 2950 Switches
• 1 x Cisco 2522 Router (10 Serial, 1 Ethernet) - Frame-Relay Switch
All relevant serial back-to-back cables, Ethernet cables etc

Kind of weak. You could use another 2950 or two. 2x2600XM would be better than 2x2501.

How about to 1721's to replace the 2501?

1721s are great with the right modules.

Ok could you expand on the modules side of things please.....one with a serial card and then a second with two serial cards?

Depends on what you're labbing. You could use WIC-1ENETs for ethernet, or WIC-1Ts for serial. It's up to you. I would keep a couple of each on hand.
