Catalyst 13.11 beta7

driver works perfect for me.....no crashes or any lag....but i only run 1 card...maybe that's why?

i swear -- AMD's driver team must have nothing but retards in it.

Now -- even after doing a clean install of all drivers, their drivers have borked my Win8.1 setup such that I can't get my dual display setup to work at all in crossfire. Before, I would enable crossfire, it would work rather smooth, and my 2nd 2560x1440 display would be plugged in to the primary card via HDMI, I wasn't able to run my desired 96Hz refresh rate, but at least I had dual monitors AND crossfire ability.

Now? I got either or I can disable crossfire and my dual displays both light up and work great, enable crossfire and its fucked.

Oh yeah - and now, if I have my 2nd monitor plugged into the primary card and reboot, I get a blue screen of death, unplug the 2nd monitor (HDMI) and I can boot just fine.

AAA title, and AAA hardware, FFF driver team.

I was running into a few weird crossfire issues too. I sold my 7950's yesterday. I'm hoping 13.11 v8, v9 or 13.12's seem a bit more stable with a pair of 290x's.
I assume by the time the 290x's show up for me, some different driver will have been worked out

Ive always had problems with dual monitors and crossfire. Since my week 1 5850 crossfire till my 7950 crossfire (just sold 1). Years and years and still not working right on most drivers.

I've been an AMD guy for the past 7 years or so, but they are pushing me right into the arms of team green with this driver bullshit. Yeah, great they are releasing more frequent drivers, does no good if every release they break features that were working in the previous one.

In a break from all the AMD bashing, while I do have the strange 40FPS cap if vsync is enabled in BF4, I don't have a single multimonitor issue with my xfired 7970 Lightnings. Running triple monitor (but not in eyefinity), although they are all on displayport connections, maybe that's why?

there's some bug with the vsync crap going on... multiple people have it.

I get 40fps max on my xfire 7970s, take off vsync and my FPS shoot to 80-120+

I'm running no vsync because it's smooth as hell, and very little tearing, (not enough for me to really notice anyway) still want them to fix it though!
