I'm in the process of transitioning my system to a uATX form factor, and am tossing around the idea of modding my Rosewill Line-M by adding an 11" x 8" window over the area where the two fan mounts are on the side panel.

Is this something that is typically easy to accomplish with one of those DIY kits, or is the general consensus that they are a PITA and come out looking like shit?

If it is something that isn't daunting, what tips and tricks should I keep in mind and use?

You can get everything outside of a kit. You'll want a hole saw, jig saw, dremel/deburring tool, double sided tape or adhesive, polycarbonite sheet, and possibly edge molding. If you have the materials, making the acutal window isn't that difficult. I made the window on my TJ07.
