case types. help pls (easy questions)

Hi guys. I'm confused. There are so many type of cases out there. The following is what I found:
ATX Full Tower
ATX Mid Tower
ATX Mini Tower
MicroATX Desktop
MicroATX Mid Tower
MicroATX Mini Tower
MicroATX Slim Case

can anyone tell me what's the diffrence beetween each ? I'm getting a gigabyte s3 mobo, E6600 cpu, 6800 GS with silencer. I wonder if those will fit in this
ATX mid tower

The main thing to look at is the fact that you listed two main "types" of cases, ATX and MicroATX. Motherboards are rated in the same fashion, you'll have ATX motherboards, and MicroATX motherboards.

As long as your motherboard is ATX size, then it'll fit in nearly any ATX case. The rest of what you listed are simply different sizes in each category, like for example an ATX Full Tower is slightly larger than an ATX Mid Tower. The main benefit to having a larger case is the ability to fit more peripherals inside of it without everything being too cramped, like extra optical drives, hard disks, etc. That doesn't apply to everyone though, and most people are best suited with an ATX Mid-Tower case, which will fit nearly any ATX Motherboard unless something went horribly, horribly wrong. :D
