I have been building high-end CAD workstations for 2 different customers for the last 6 years and 95% of the units I used a Corsair 650D. A fairly large mid-tower that had plenty of room for components and great cable organizing/hiding.
Corsair now seems to have discontinued this case so I need some ideas as to what I should use for future builds..
A few requirements are as follows: Brand does not matter as long as the following can be included,
1) Should be all steel or aluminum / NO PLASTIC
2) 1 of the 2 customers loves the built-in external SATA Drive of the 650D so I need this option or at least an alternative
3) Window or not doesn't matter either way
4) Must be able to handle a 280 radiator (preferably located in the top of the case)
5) Has to have at least two 5 1/2" drive bays
6) Would like somewhere around the same internal space for components and wiring
7) Looks rugged but not flashy (used in engineering offices)
I will appreciate and look into all suggestions!
Thanks!!!!!
