Well im new into PC modding. Im looking for a nice case with a window, i just saw the MurderBox i really like them would their be something similar on the market?

I haven't seen the "Murdermod" or "Murderbox" but many Lian-Li's look the Silverstone cases without the side vent. But anyway, the TJ07 isn't a bad case, I almost bought a TJ09 recently.

To add to my comment...okay, it doesn't look a lot like a Lian-Li or a Silverstone, but I do like my Cooler Master Storm Sniper. It comes stock with a mesh panel, one can order a windowed for it and Newegg for instance carries both the case itself and the windowed panel as an option.

Here, I have a thread where I asked for some case suggestions, and then posted my case after buying it with components inside. My cable management sucks but even so you should get an idea from it:

Some people posted other suggestions with links too.

Frozencpu has some nice pre-modded cases, but if money were no object I think I would go Murderbox.

The Corsair 800D would be on the top of my list for a pc case under reasonable price restrictions though.

Yeah im replacing my old rig which is a:

CPU:Intel Pentium 4 Dual Core
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA
Ram:2x Corsair XMS2 1GB
Graphics Card:Nvidia 9800GT
Hard Drive:2x WD Raptor RAID
DVD Drives:Samsung SH-D163B and Samsung SH-S223B

I would be going all out on a new rig for some hardcore gaming seeing this is 5 years old

Hmmm, now for suggestions on Motherboard and CPU. i have narrowed it down to the Corsair Obsidian 800D or the Silverstone TJ07. The only problem is that i am located in Australia i have not yet been able to find either case

A black TJ07 with Murdermod pannels bought from www.murdermod.com will run you a lot.

$330 - TJ07
$60 - Top Clear Pannel
$80 - Back Pannel
$190 - Front pannel
$40 - Mid-plate
-----
$700

If you choose to do the center light, even more..

This isn't including a powder-coating job to get the case to match a Murdermod. Your best bet is to either do option 1 or buy the full case here: http://www.murdermod.com/murdermod-tj07/murdermod-tj07.htm ($990)

You really have to decide if its worth it to you. If money is no object, get it. Charles is an amazing guy and he really makes the experience 100% worth it. I got lucky with my mod, I purchased the case with powder coating for $330, and UPS completely damaged part of the case (Which sucks because it's been in the box in my room for a month now and I can't touch it let alone start building) and I should be receiving a $200 check soon to pay for the damages, which helped a lot.

IMO it's the best case out there an more of an investment. You will not have to upgrade cases for some time, if ever. If you spend $150 on a case every few years it adds up, but if you get it done, and stay with it for some time, it's worth it.

Plus you get to say I have a Murdermod TJ07. ;)

I'm slightly partial to the Silverstone Raven. It's got the side window, and a rather unique mobo configuration.
