I'm in need of some help finding a good case. I like the Lian Li PC-V2100 a lot - aestheticly and how much drive space its got. However, depending on how my mobo search goes I might need to get a heat-piped board, which pretty much cuts out all the lian-li's. Anybody have good cases that are heatpipe friendly. I'm not a big modder (don't really have the time to do it.)

Sure, I'll go against common consensus and what seems to be pretty thorough testing cause 1 guy tells me its a "myth".......yea....
 
I believe it actually has been proven false.. for what it is worth I turned my entire case upside down and noticed only a small change in temp.

Although, I will admit, Abit told me not to do it and I went along and did it anyway.


On a side note, perhaps you may want to check out the p180b.. from what I remember it can hold a decent amount of drives if done right. :)
 
If going by the "if you turn a heatpipe upside down it doesn't work properly" field of logic, then theoretically it should work even worse when the board is flat. But no, it worked the same as it does now.
