Silent = Panaflo
Performing silence to noise ration = Panaflo
best performer = Vantec Tornado
blue led = Coolermaster are good, altough some generic can do a good job

I'll pretty much agree with this post. There are increasingly silent fans, but i'd say panaflo is the best value. You can always go the papst/silenX/etc... route but i just dont think it's worth it.

Vantec Stealths suck for the price, IMO.

buy some low rpm panaflo 120mm fans.

i am using some basic 3 pin 80mm antec LED fans and they seem pretty loud to me. well it sounds alot louder than 21db at least.

he dont have space for a 120.. looking for 80mm

I have the coolmaster ones allready, think i might just buy like 5 more.

You probably won't be happy with the noise with any fan you purchase, you might like it for a couple days becuase it will be less loud then what you had, but since noise is an issue for you any noise is going to be a problem.

I'd say just go with the panaflo, they are the quietest fan around so then you can tell yourself I went with the quietest fan I could buy can't do anything else (when your not happy), or you will just end up buying them down the road. I went wth the vantec stealth, now I regret not buying the panaflo as I hear they are noticably lower.

I bought a Panaflo and will probably buy SilenX to replace it in my quest for quietness. Though Panaflos are good, it could be better, I'm just trying to find that right now

why not go with reasonably quiet fans and get urself the sunbeam rheobus?

that one can turn them from 0-12V, good stuff

thats what i believe i am going to do, I am hopeing to help my videocard and ram stay cool underload (when i have headphones on and dont mind the noise) and turn off the noise (asleep and its like a headach in my head)

enermax 120s kick ass, but back on topic:

80mm LED fan would be coolermaster by far, they are pretty quiet, inaudible over other case fans. and move just as much air as noisy antec LED fans.

stealths suck. peroid.

panaflos are awesome, but enermaxes are a bit quieter and have clear blades, and are adjustable, of course they are more expensive than panaflos too. but they are nice fans, give you power when you need it, silence when you need it,

whats the best place to order this from

or does frys have them?

Ya, they pop right out. Just be careful with that one because you can turn it all the way from 0-12v so your fans may cut off on you if you just set it somewhere in the middle.

the idea is to be able to turn them off all the way.. but i do see your point.
