I was looking at this fan from newegg.... http://secure.newegg.com/app/CustratingReview.asp?DEPA=0&item=11-998-109

I don't want any leds, I just want it to glow under my UV light, which these do. I am just wondering how loud 25 dBA is. The fans I have now just make slight humm. I can't find out how many dBA they are... Enermax has taken them off their site.

If anyone knows of any quiet blue uv fans, let me know!

Hope someone can help!! Thanks!!

I couldn't really tell you how quiet these fans are, but I can tell you that compared to other fans, these are very quiet. And the noise is in a good ratio to the CFM they push. I guess most manufacturers would consider these "silent" fans... but that really just means quiet.

Bottom line is, these are good fans to get if you want something that doesn't make a lot of noise but still performs, but they are not dead silent. They are very quiet though. If I was looking for the same thing you were, I would have no objections to buying these fans.

Thanks for the reply man. Basically I was just trying to see if they had a humm sound to them. The fan I just bought was 30dBA and it was way to loud for my liking. It made a buzzing sound.... is it because of the ball bearings?
