Well, I've managed to pull a 75% overclock out of my system in the sig but I believe my RAM may be the component holding everything up. With the CPU at 3.25GHz (465x7), the RAM (at 1:1) is running at DDR2-930. However, in the BIOS under the RAM frequency settings there's no options to take the ratio below 1:1, only higher. So I can't crank up the system anymore without bringing up the RAM with it. Frankly I'm surpised I got 4x1Gb sticks to OC that much in the first place!
I've only been OC'ing since I built my first AMD 64 system a couple years ago but this is my first real dive into Intel waters. Do the new C2D boards not allow for underclocking the RAM or did I just not buy the right board?
