cant run memtest!!!

Whenever i try to boot from the bootable memtest floppy the pc keeps rebooting right after the program loads.\
Any ideas?

My config is:

- Albatron k8x800
- a64 3000+
- Kingston Value Ram 1 gig
- 450 Watt PS

I have no idea why this would happen. The mem is not failing, the thing is that the program wont start and the system reboots.
