Can't patch tcpip.sys file

Well, I had to patch the tcpip.sys file in WinXP SP2 due to its limit to 10 connection, but somehow after patching, when i reboot, the value is change back to 10. It was working fine last night but the next morning i found it at 10 again.

I wonder how do I patch it and make that change permanent? Or did windows change thevalue back?


Pls help if anyone knows.
